TASTING NOTES :

Aged red wine name: “Ranocchio Rosso”

Grapes: Cabernet souvignon, Cabernet franc, Merlot.

The wine’s colour is intense, deep ruby red, with violet reflections, its fragrance is remarkable for its breadth and length, with distinctive notes of blackberries, bilberries and ripe raspberries. On the palate, it is sumptuously smooth, very elegant, full-bodied, warm, and complex, with hints of spice and vanilla. Very smooth, with an exceptionally long finish.

Culinary combinations: red meat, game, flavoursome first course dishes, and strong, ripe cheeses.

Alcoholic strength: 12.5% by volume. 

Suggested glass: large balon for red wine. Serving temperature: 17 – 18 °C.

Storage: in a dry and cool place, at a temperature between 8 and 12 °C.

Ageing potential: 4 – 5 years and more.
